Job Description:

The Town of Highland in Douglas County, Wisconsin has an immediate opening for a Full Time Permanent Facilities & Road Maintenance Technician. This employee will work alongside another employee. Duties to include road maintenance, heavy and light equipment operation and maintenance, snow removal, and facilities/grounds related duties assigned by the Town Board. We have approximately 106 miles of roads, Full position description available upon request. Experience preferred and a CDL is required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and obtain a CDL Fed Med Card. Starting wage is $21 per hour and up depending on qualifications and experience. A benefit package is available including sick time and vacation time, paid holidays, health and dental insurance and IRA contributions. We are in the process of updating our equipment.
